PROCESS OPTIMIZATION (SPOT WELDING)

We guarantee the improvement of the resistance spot welding process by ensuring the quality of the joints, taking advantage of the potential of the machines and training of personnel, positively impacting availability / performance, increasing quality and optimizing the use of expendable materials and spare parts, reducing rework and lowering release costs.

  • Optimization of expendable materials and spare parts, allowing to increase the useful life of expendables (caps / electrodes), which reduces consumption and increases the time for replacement of spare parts.
  • Lowering quality costs through widening the estimation / destructive testing intervals and reducing Scrap. Scrap.

IST STANDARD ®

At LTA we have developed a Spot welding standard called the IST Standard (Integrated Spot Welding Tune Up), in order to take advantage of the technological qualities of all the machines involved during the welding process. The main IST qualities are placing product quality as the priority of its implementation, followed by efficient optimization of expendables and application times, as well as its cycle time.
